"Sand + Cedar", photography by Golie Miamee
  • "Sand + Cedar" is a collection of images that bridges the histories, traditions, and cultures of Lebanon, Turkey, Greece, and Morocco. Veiled women, set against the backdrop of vast dunes evoke the shared human spirit and the deep connection between place, culture, and the unseen forces that unite these regions.

In Studio E:

Students in The Glass Studio at Salisbury University
  • Salisbury University has a Bachelor of Fine Art Glass Program that is one of only 30 in the country. Current students and recent graduates have gone on to earn MFA degrees, start their own glassmaking studios, work in private studios and commercial factories. They show their work in top tier galleries and museums around the world, and work at the Corning Museum of Glass.

Celebrate Black History Month and Ocean City’s 150 Years of Smiles with a series of photographs taken from the archives of the Ocean City Life Saving Station Museum

In the Artisan Showcase:

Kathy Heugel and Kacie Neeb share the Artisan Showcase in February. Heugel creates nature-inspired earrings in her home studio in South Bethany Beach.

Neeb, the Art League’s Gallery Coordinator, began as a metalsmithing instructor at a premier summer camp where she taught the art of jewelry making and metal craft.

Abi Lightner has been developing her skills in digital art, and her love of writing goes hand-in-hand with her love of art. Her strengths lie in digital portraiture, character design, and storytelling through the art.

The Global Travel Photo Contest encourages participants to capture and share the awe-inspiring moments that connect people globally, whether through the thrill of sportfishing or the art of photography. Open to all to participate. White Marlin Open will be providing the grand prize of $1,000 cash to the photo with the most votes, as well as the potential to choose a select number of images to be featured on screen during its very own competition. Given White Marlin Open’s alignment with the theme of world scale adventure, this collaboration emphasizes the spirit of discovery, showcasing the connection between travel and the natural environment.
